Position Title: PLM Sales Account Manager

The Sales Account Manager position is distinguished by additional specialized knowledge in breadth and/or depth, as well as record of success in sales , especially with C-level execs at Fortune 1000 IBM accounts. Sells to large, complex, high visibility, strategic, or tactically important, named accounts. (Fortune 1000-with 5,000 plus employees). Sells the organization's products and/or services to, and maintains relationships with typically one to three existing large, complex, high visibility, strategic, or tactically important accounts. Able to deal with both business and technical issues.

Have experience from IBM Global Services, CSC, EDS, or similar firms who are successful at selling software, service offerings and implementing large-scale outsourcing projects for legacy data migration/conversion in the United States and India. Must have successful experience selling various services offerings including large multi-year managed services, legacy application management, off-shoring and near-shoring.

Position Location: Various locations throughout the US

Responsibilities: Responsible for PLM sales covering a regionally defined set of target accounts and potentially several National Accounts. Primary focus is to maximize profitable revenue through technically selling incremental software and services to existing and new accounts

Activities and Duties:

  • Develops strategies and orchestrates company resources to maximize sales volume and profit goals.
  • Accurately forecasts annual, quarterly and monthly revenue stream.
  • Proven record of exceeding assigned quota
  • Coordinate proper company resources to ensure efficient and stable software sales
  • Identify, develop, and close very large, long-term opportunities
  • Provide sales support for existing customers as needed
  • Identify new strategic business opportunities in existing accounts
  • Prospect for new sales opportunities within assigned accounts
  • Develop and execute Strategic Account Plans that include a Positioning Sales Plan, Attack Sales Plan, and Protect Sales Plan to maximize profitable revenue

Education:

  • Requires a bachelor's degree in business, sales, marketing, or equivalent and/or 3 years of experience in the field.

Skills and Qualifications:

The successful candidate will become part of a small, highly dynamic and fast moving team, and should be self-motivated, have a great attitude and able to work on his or her own initiative. He/she should be a quick learner, able to solve problems and challenge existing assumptions.

  • Dassault Systemes software product knowledge including CATIA, ENOVIA, SMARTEAM, VPLM and data migration from 2D to 3D
  • Industry/competitor knowledge including automotive, aerospace, energy, manufacturing, telecommunications and high technology
  • Advanced knowledge of the Product Development Process as it relates to the IBM/DS PLM product suite, engineering applications and the consultative sales process required to close new business in a strategic value-based solutions approach
  • Ability to coordinate TGS sales and support efforts with national accounts that have multiple locations throughout North America
  • Advanced knowledge of sales automation tools
  • Outstanding people and client account management skills
  • Exceptional at negotiating large contracts
  • Able to articulate a value proposition from the customer's perspective
  • Advanced written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to travel up to 50% of the time.
