The Sales Account Manager position is distinguished by additional specialized knowledge in breadth and/or depth, as well as record of success in sales , especially with C-level execs at Fortune 1000 IBM accounts. Sells to large, complex, high visibility, strategic, or tactically important, named accounts. (Fortune 1000-with 5,000 plus employees). Sells the organization's products and/or services to, and maintains relationships with typically one to three existing large, complex, high visibility, strategic, or tactically important accounts. Able to deal with both business and technical issues. Have experience from IBM Global Services, CSC, EDS, or similar firms who are successful at selling software, service offerings and implementing large-scale outsourcing projects for legacy data migration/conversion in the United States and India. Must have successful experience selling various services offerings including large multi-year managed services, legacy application management, off-shoring and near-shoring. Position Location: Various locations throughout the US Responsibilities: Responsible for PLM sales covering a regionally defined set of target accounts and potentially several National Accounts. Primary focus is to maximize profitable revenue through technically selling incremental software and services to existing and new accounts Activities and Duties:
