Position Title: Inside Sales/Training Representative- East & Central Region

We are recruiting an inside sales/training representative for our east and central sales regions. The ideal candidate is experienced in lead generation, is a motivated overachiever, pro-active, welcomes challenges, delivers outstanding results and wants to be part of a progressive and growing organization.

Position Location: Southfield, Michigan

Responsibilities: Maximize profitable revenue through selling training to existing accounts and to new target prospects within the east and central region. Conducts lead generation/discovery and works with a partnered field representative to close if necessary.

Activities and duties:

  • Identify, develop, and close very large, long-term opportunities
  • Provide sales training support for existing customers as needed
  • Identify new training opportunities in existing accounts
  • Provide feedback to internal company organizations to improve solution offering
  • Prospect for new sales opportunities within assigned accounts
  • Coordinate activities within the company required to execute strategic training offerings
  • Attain personal quarterly and yearly quotas

Education:

  • Minimum of 2 years in prospecting sales through the phone, preferably focused in the engineering/manufacturing process and business process of organizational structure to introduce or advance PLM training opportunities. A Bachelor's degree is a plus.
  • Experienced in classroom training techniques, lead generation and closing sales

Skills and qualifications:

The successful candidate will become part of a small, highly dynamic and fast moving team, and should be self-motivated, have a great attitude and be able to work on his or her own initiative. He/she should be a quick learner, able to solve problems and challenge existing assumptions.

  • Knowledge of the Product Development Process as it relates to the IBM/DS CATIA/PLM product suite, engineering applications and the consultative sales process required to close new business in a strategic value-based solutions approach
  • Ability to develop strategic partnerships
  • Ability to coordinate training that is not on the schedule
  • Advanced organizational, interpersonal, and presentational skills.
  • Advanced written and verbal communication skills.
  • General computer skills in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
  • Ability to orchestrate company resources in a team selling environment
  • Experience and skill in making introductory/open-ended discovery calls
  • Experience in prioritizing leads and activities, researching prospects and positioning technical solutions within the context of that research
  • At least two years of selling experience working in a lead generation/inside sales organization with an ability to show high-end performance and consistent quota attainment
