While ENOVIA provides a framework for part classification, there is no good integration of this part classification framework with existing CAD applications. The integration captures the catalog structure and product structure (when a CATIA product is checked in). It captures the relationships between a catalog and a catalog part or between a product and the parts the product is composed of. The integration then helps manage revisions of these parts as they change over a period of time.
